General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by pinching and compression of the nerve as it passes through the carpal groove. This would lead to numbness and paraesthesia.

Endoscopic surgery is done and that compression is relieved. It is 100 per cent safe and effective.
Being an endoscopy, the cost, hospital stay, antibiotic course, pain, loss of work days and anesthesia are markedly slashed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
