How Effective Is Laser Treatment In Lichen Planus Pigmentosus Case?

Hi, this is A, i was recently diagnosed with Lichen planus pigmentosus, i would like to know if laser treatment would help. i have dark brown spots all over my neck, chest and arms. My face just turned very dark last year and now its slowly getting back its natural complexion but the problem is its taking forever to heal so now my face is two colored, i tried using 4% hydroquinone but still no improvement, plz help

Hi. If the disease is not progressive, you are left with pigmentation only. As the pigment is mostly dermal (deeer), hydroquinone wont help much. LASER is a good choice as it is effective in removing dermal pigmentation. Just make sure you get it done by a trained personnel. hope it helps.
