How Important Is Taking The Following Precautions During Radiation For Breast Cancer?

i was told there would be some restrictions during radiation therapy for breast cancer. For example, i may have to use a separate toilet than others, or take some precautions after using (like flushing twice). Another example was that i may not be allowed to sleep in the same bed with my husband. Are there other restrictions? Can I be around my grandchildren? Do I need to use extra precautions cleaning or being in public?

Hi,

While on radiation therapy, the immune system is depressed, giving the possibility of getting infections easily. All the precautions are taken to avoid infection.
