How Is HPV Transmitted?

iam 18 years old female , i have been diagnosed with HPV .. i only had anal sex and the warts showed around the anus ,,, can i be not infected in my vagina & i cant transmit the disease through vaginal sex???
will i ever be HPV free , my doctor says that i will have it for ever !

Thank you for query.warts are caused by HPV virus.it can infect or spread to other parts of body including the vagina.It can be transmitted by sexual route or by skin to skin contact also.usually the virus will be with you for long and can get reactivated any time.Take treatment like podophyllin resins like podowart or cryotherapy on discussion with your doctor.HPV vaccines are available you can consult the doctor for vaccines which will help in protection against warts and cervical cancers.You can get back for any clarifications.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist.
