How Is A Physical Examination Of Body Carried Out?
I'm a 28 yr old male. I went to a family practice doctor for the first time this week. She was very caring and concerned with my health it seemed, but she didn't perform what I thought was a full physical exam. She checked my heart and lungs listened to my abdomen but only used one hand to feel my abdomen. She gave me an ekg and that was it. Is that typical for a free time new patient exam? And is it rude to go see another doctor to see if I'd be happier with someone else before I make a decision to pick a family doctor for my self?
