How Is Chlamydia Infection Transmitted?

I went to the hospital for a stomach pain and the doctor said my blood and urine results came out good but 2 days later he called me saying I had chlamydia so I told my partner to get tested and his came out negative how is that possible his the only person I been sexually active for the past 6 months before him I only had one sex partner my symptoms were exactly as the nsu bacteria is it possible it was nsu bacteria what I had and not chlamydia or why is my partner doesn t have it too?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

All those exposed to some disease (STD or non-STD) are not necessarily getting the disease due to various factors including innate immunity. You could have acquired the infection through your earlier sex partner and there is every possibility for your present sex partner to remain uninfected.
Another possibility is a false negative lab report. No lab test is 100% fool-proof.
