HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The medication given to you by the doctor should reduce your chance of contracting hep b significantly.

After the window period has passed, you may want to be checked for infection to make sure that the measures were effective.
The window period is the time between infection and when a test can reliably detect the infection if present.

The window period for hep b is 45 to 160 days though the mean time is 100 days.

I hope this helps
