How Is Herpes Infection Transmitted?
I m dating a lady who states she has herpes having contracted it in high school from visiting a foreign country without having sex. I ve referenced to her that my knowledge of herpes is that it can only be transmitted by some form of sex. Please advise.

Hi there are two types of herpes. Herpes Zoster is the adult form of infection by chicken pox virus. It has no relation to sex. Herpes Simplex (around lips or genital area) may be transmitted by sex--regards
