How Is One Supposed To Act During The First Menstruation?

how are women suppose to act when they feel blood coming out of their vagina when they are on their period?? i am 16 and i have been struggling since i was 11 because i get super nervous when i feel the blood coming out so i suck it in, how can i change this? it doesnt let me do sports or nothing.
