IgM antibodies are acute phase antibodies, while Ig G antibodies are chronic phase antibodies. Ig M remains only when there is acute infection. It subsides when infection subsides, but Ig G remains in Blood for prolong time, so if woman is having Ig G but not Ig M, woman can conceive.
