How Long After Depo Withdrawal Can I Get Pregnant?
Hi, how long does one injection of depovera injection take to wear off fully? And will it take over a year to full pregnant with just this one injection? (I stopped taking it immediately after the first injection due to noticeable weight gain. And I can t shift it back to normal. I feel like I m eating so much less as well and still exercise as per normal. The injection was recommended the best due to being epileptic. However I am not sure what is best because and won t cause weight gain. Thanks. Bronwyn

Hi,
Weight gain is a side effect of Depo injection and implants. You may need to wait for 3 months for the hormones to be completely out of your system. After this time, your body return to normal hormone levels and the chance of pregnancy will get higher after this period.
