How Long After Elbow Surgery Can Lifting Be Resumed?

Hi, I had surgery on my right elbow yesterday becuase I snapped something while arm wrestling. The ligament or some pone whatever. The doctor put two pins in my elbow and a bandage, not a cast, he said that he'd take it off in 10 days and that I'd fully recover in 14 days but the pins will remain for protection for a few more months. I am a bodybuilder and I would like to know if after this 14 day rest if I would be able to get back to lifting.
