How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?
Hello I am 22 years of age. I am currently not pregnant as I received my period last month on the 17 and which ended on the 24th. Last month my period was two days late and I did take a home pregnancy test to confirm I was not pregnant and I receievd a negative result. Now this month I am having a very very very light bleeding. I have no clue as to wait this may be caused by and I am getting kind of worried. Any ideas? Also if this helps I am not taking any hormonal pills and I am not in any kind of birth control.

Hi, I understand your concern. In case you are expecting pregnancy this month & find the period to be scanty, you should go for blood HCG test- which is +ve around expected day of menses.( home pregnancy test is effective after8- 10 days delay in periods) In case your blood test is +ve,the bleeding you have may be implantation bleeding. You should seek help of a gynecologist in that case. Thanks.
