Hello,

If you get pregnant, there is a hormone released in your body called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG). The level of this hormone is detected by pregnancy test stick 2-3 days before your periods.

As you are already about 15 days late for your periods, you can take the pregnancy test now. It is advised that the test should be done early in the morning with the first sample of urine as it is undiluted.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
