How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?

I had been taking Monessa BC for a year. My last period was on Sept 5th, and that s around the time I stopped taking my birth control. My period is now 3 days late, I ve had pregnancy symptoms and I got a negative test. Is it possible that I could still be pregnant and I took the test too soon?

Yes it is possible and the result could also be falsely negative. Usually the kit can be used at the first day of missed period itself. You can try again after 3 days. Even after that if the test is showing negative and the periods are still due, I would recommend you to consult your obstetrician for further investigations.
Hope the above information helps you. Thanks.
