How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?

Hello, My periods are 22-24 days cycle, started taking folic acid and medicine for hypothyroid since 2 months. we are trying to get conceived now. Am 43 days delayed this time for my periods which is first ever time in my life. But my urine test shows negative in HCG. What can be the probable reason and Am I be still pregnant?

Hi, I think you can do a blood test for pregnancy bhcg. If negative, you can take some medicines like progesterone for inducing periods. It can happen due to some stress factor also.Check your thyroid profile. Get a ultrasound done to rule out polycystic ovaries.
