General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, it is the usual and average period of 5-7 days during which there are high chances of transmission of head lice and that period has to be taken care of.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
