How Long After Miscarriage Is It Safe To Conceive Again?

Hi Doctor, My wife has undergone miscarriage last month. It was due to placental knot that lead to fetal demise at 34 weeks. My question is when she wil be ready for her next pregnancy? Do we need to wait till her periods get regularised or is there any time period for her uterus to get ready? Please guide us.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
It is unfortunate to note that you had abortion at 34 weeks. I also appreciate the eagerness that you need to conceive again.
There is no specific period as such to tell you to wait for you to conceive again. It will take some time for your hormones to get regularize.
Once you get your periods and your cycles becomes regular, you are ready to conceive again.
Relax and be hopeful that it will happen soon.
Best wishes for the next time.
