How Long After Taking Misoprostal Can One Expect Bleeding To Start?

So I went to the clinic and was given meds for misoprostal but its been 24 hours since taking the first dosage and only have had cramps and diarrhea, I have my last period the middle of feb. And hadnt been sexually active until the beginning of march and took a pregnancy test after missing my period that came up positive. The pills they gave me have an expiration date for april 2015. does it take longer to bleed?

i understand your concern. Misoprostol drug is used for medical termination of pregnancy. drug start uterine muscular contraction and produce premature termination of pregnancy by medical means. you had not described about dose of drug and also how many tablet you had taken. sometimes initially low dose is given then slowly dose is increased. you are getting the most common side effects of drug misoprostol like diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.continue with the drug as prescribed and if you did not deliver then consult a doctor for opinion.
