Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve been taking suboxone for years now. I m 21, was a heroin iv user. Currently sitting at 4 months clean. My question to you, doctor, is that I ve heard that 10 minutes is the time you want to wait before drinking something after you ve taken your suboxone film, or swallowed the silica? I don t know if there is a correct answer, but what is your take on it?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. There is no specific instruction for food and liquids intake ,but it would be good to wait 10-15minutes before taking meal, just to avoid ixing subloxone with food in stomach since it may reduce subloxone activity.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
