How Long Before Shoulder Surgery Should Consuming Alcohol Be Stopped?

Hello,

I'm having surgery on my right shoulder to correct a torn muscle. Although it is arthroscopic surgery, I will be administered a general anesthesia. How long before my surgery should I stop consuming alcohol? Am I safe if a stop a week prior to the surgery?

Thanks,

Neil

h dear,
yes it is safe to quit before one week as if you experienced any withdrawal features then you can took treatment for that also.
and once you stop alcohol not to start again as it has very bad effect on your body. so due to operation you left alcohol.
you can also take advise of your surgeon and anesthetic.
thank you
