My daughter is 12 yrs old she was suffering for cold and mild fever eg 100degree i started Azithral 200. 7.5ml once daily with Respira d 5 ml thrice daily after 3 days she is perfectly ok now how long should she will be given medicine Should i stop the medicine?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Azhithral is an antibiotic medication. It's course is to be given compulsorily for 3 days. Respira Syrup contains Ambroxol, Guaifenesin and Salbutamol as active ingredients. It primarily promotes mucus clearance. It needs be given along with antibiotic for 3 days, but can be continued up to 5 days, depending on the response. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
