How Long Can Lonazep Be Taken For Motion Sickness?

i have been prescribed to take .25 mg lonazep twice a day, because at times i feel motion sickness due to tension.should i continue how much long the tablet? Doctor prescribed for 3 weeks and even for life time if needed,it will not cause any harm is it true?
