How Long Can Telma For High BP Be Used?

I am 35 m Mr heart beat is 87 90 usually these days And bp is 120 80 taking telema 20 medicine And once before taking it was 170 110 Total cholesterol is 220 Is it harming my heart in long run Can i leave medicine in future What would you suggest

Hello and thank you for asking us on HCM!

The blood pressure you have had before is considered high, second grade hypertension. Generally it can't be controlled without medications. So i'f afraid you have to take that medication continuously. Sure you will have better results if you make a healthy lifestyle with physical activity, reducing of salt and fat. It doesn't harm your heart if the BP remains in normal rate.
