General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It recommended being taken as needed. However, other causes of erectile dysfunction should be ruled out by your doctor. Commonly used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, Viagra (Sildenafil should be taken one hour before intercourse on empty stomach once daily.

You may continue to take as a when required. However, you should consult your doctor if you develop some of its side effects such as visual disturbances, hypotension (fall in blood pressure), decreased hearing, or persistent painful erections (priapism).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
