How Long Can Abdominal Bloating And Pain Be Ignored?

My symptoms are pain in my left rib cage and lower left abdominal pain, sometimes severe. I also have extreme fatigue, bloating, nausea, and a funny kind of bitter taste in my mouth. I am waiting on results from my blood test. I do not have any fever. My question is, when should I go to hospital if things get worse and I do not have results back from blood test. Thank you.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is more likely.
So you can take start below mentioned treatment without waiting for blood reports.
1. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
2. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
3. Start pantoprazole and levosulperide combination on empty stomach twice daily.
4. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Go for walking after meals.
5. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits. Loose weight if you are obese.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
