How Long Can Her Heart Keep Beating Fast Like That Before?

My mother fall and broke her him..ok they did surgery four days ago . she is 87 years old . they had to give her blood yesterday and now they are trying to control her heart rate and high blood pressure. . and her kidney on work 2o % .. Saying all this. My mom look really. Bad to me.. In really scare that she dying. How long can her heart keep beating fast like that before. It stops?

Hi,

You can take her to an institution with good ICU care. She required comprehensive care. Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated. She might require drugs like Metoprolol to control her heart rate.
