I quit smoking and need to know How long Cotinine can be detected in a persons blood and urine. I have seen so many different answers to this question all over the web and I need a REAL FACTUAL Answer to this, not 4 days not 7 days not 10 days not 21 days not 1 month not 2 months... What is the REAL ANSWER?

half of it goes away every 770–1130 minutes (12.5 to 20 hrs) so... if your level starts out 20 times the minimal amount detectable (quite possible).
10, 5, 2.5, 1.2.... about 4 times the half life or 48 to 80 hrs. 8 to 12 days. If it were ONE cigarette, that is just about at the detection level and about ONE half life of 12 to 20 hrs.
