How Long Do Amlodipine/Benazepril Take To Be Effective?
I have high blood pressure for which I take amlodipine/Benazepril 5/20mg once daily. I was on a trip out of town and couldn t find my pills -- took one of my son s 10 mg lisonopril 7:30 am this morning. Just returned home now and am still feeling high BP symptoms. Is it safe to take one of my regular pills. I realize they don t work immediately and that I ll have to take it easy for a couple hours

Hi, welcome to HCM, yes you should go back to your regular medication. But you can check your Blood pressure at home or in a Mall to be sure. Regards
