How long do I have to wait to give my husband oral sex after wisdom teeth extraction? Hello, I m 22 soon to be 23. & I just had my wisdom teeth pulled out 3 days ago. I know it s quite soon to ask but my husband will be coming back home in about 3 weeks. & I would like to know how long I have to wait before I can perform oral sex on him. I haven t seen him in a while since he is a Marine and has been away. And I would like our first night together after so long to be verything he has been hoping for!

after any extraction we have to avoid creation of negative pressure inside the oral cavity till the blood clot is formed and firm in its place. it usually takes place within 24 hours. so no need to worry about anything. as you mentioned , you have 3 week time till he returns , so it is ample amount of time to let your wound properly heal . in the mean while do warm saline rinses 4-5 times a day. take proper care of extraction site. clean your mouth after eating anything.

Precautions are told for 7 days after wisdom teeth extraction. If some sutures are placed, till then also, they will be removed.
So, be afresh and do Not worry.

Take complete course of antibiotics -analgesics.
Gargle frequently with lukewarm saline.
Rinse your mouth after every meals.
Maintain oral hygiene well.

Exraction socket approximately needs 4-6 weeks to heal....
You have to continue the proper course of antibiotic and analgesic according to the prescription...
If you have stitch in the extraction site then go for removal after 7 days of extraction...
Do warm saline rinses 7-8 times/day...this is the ideal medicine to help in healing process...
Wash your mouth after each meal to keep that area clean...
Don't have any hard,spicy food with that side for few days...
Don't be worried...your extraction site will get enough time to heal adequately...

but i would advice you to visit your dentist after 10 days to check the complete healing and to rule out dry socket or improper healing
do warm saline rinses 3 to 4 times a day
do not let food accumulate at extraction site
take multivitamin supplements and nutritious diet for fast healing
do not chew hard food stuff from that side for few days

3 week are usually enough for proper healing of the socket, jus maintain good oral hygiene and gargle with warm saline water and antiseptics 3-4 times a day...keep visit ur dentist on regular period till u get completely fine..

3 week time is sufficient to heal a socket after extraction. so, do not take any tension. the wound will heal by that time.
