How Long Do SGOT And SGPT Values Take To Be Normal?

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a seafarer. Last week i done my medicals and got to know that i had grade-1 fatty lever, and SGOT was80, SGPT was 120. Remaining all perameters were normal. So docto suggested me UDLIV and Silyban 140 tablets. How long it will take to bring SGOt and SGPT to normal values. I am also maintaining a strict diet and doing 1 hr 30 minutes excercises a day. How may days it may take to bring back the lever to normal state?

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Your diagnosis : Grade 1 fatty liver

My advise for your case below....
-continue prescribed drug esp. Udiliv
-do regular exercise as you are doing (running, swimming etc)
-Avoid high fatty foods
-Better to restrict junk foods to a very minimal
-Avoid alcohol drinking
-use less oil in daily cooking
-Refined food avoided

With life style measure your lived enzymes value will come within limit in approx four to five months

Monthly check liver enzymes value

Your cholesterol level, triglyceride, LDL also should be checked

Take care

Hope your concern solved
