Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Had surgery May 4, partially torn labrum, partially separated bicep muscle from shoulder, 2 bone spurs removed from impinging on rotator cuff, all was cleaned up by surgeon. How long is recovery, considering I m a waiter who lifts trays with both arms. Thx for any info..
It is around usual time period of 6-8 weeks for complete recovery from such procedures of bone spur surgery, but still an individual recovery depends upon multiple parameters and same has to be discussed with your orthopedic surgeon before commencing weight lifting.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
