How Long Do Discolored Psoriasis Bumps Take To Resolve?

Hi I have psoriasis... my doctor gave me a cream which helped stop the break out now my skin where the bumps were is discolored some skin is pink some is dark brown where the spots were. Will this eventually go away on its own or is there something I can do to help it. I am suppose to see a dermatologist but not for another week in a half...

I really appreciate your concern, if this is psoriasis then in this disease lot of symptoms goes on variation from time to time and most of them are self limiting and some time this may comes around on its own but this may not be the sign of cure, in my opinion just wait for some time before you go to see the dermatologist, hope this information helps, take care.
