How Long Does Addison S Disease Take To Get Cured?
I am in the process of being diagnosed with Addison s Disease as well as a problem on my Thyroid. Having had two spinal fusions ,one foot pinned and part of my colon removed followed by C-Diff. All within 2 years. I am now 20 lbs under weight at 5 9 and weak. If I am diagnosed with this how long before I can get my strength back. Age 52 and Ornery!
In fact, Addison is the deficiency of specific hormones which are has a pivotal role in our daily life and give us the energy.
If diagnosed and started on the hormones, it just takes a few days to be back on the track and in a week time, you may feel great. Howe'ver the treatment need to be lifelong most of the times. Good luck.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
