How Long Does Amycordial Take To Regularize Periods?
Hi, I was diagnosed with PCOS at 29 years. I have always had irregular periods since I was 13 years old. My last peroid was in May 2016. I am currently on Amycordial tablets and M2-Tone Syrup. How long will it take me to have a regular period. I have completed the first dose of these drugs.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Ani cordial is an ayurveda medicine which takes long Time to act. It is many a time used as an adjacent to allopathic treatment. Still, you can give a trial for minimum 6 months to 1 year to the drug. You should get your USG scan report of pelvis & ovulation study as you start the treatment & repeat it after 6 months to see improvement. In absence of it you may have to consult a gynecologist for specific treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
