How Long Does Cotinine Stay In The System?
I have to see a plastic surgeon in 5 days.....I have smoked 1/2 to 1 cigarette a day for about 6 months......I need surgery and smoked a couple today after not smoking for a week.....I m pretty sure he will test me....I have been in a car numerous times in the last month with 3 - 4 people smoking and have had friends anf family around for weeks since im unable to go to parties for the holidays. Will i test positive for cotinine in 5 days? Im probably looling at surgery the beginning of january....what can i do or take to rid my blood of cotinine?

I really appreciate your concern, the only option you have and that is declare when you last smoke to doctor and let the doctor decide what is to be done and follow the instruction strictly hope this helps.
