How Long Does Flu Shot Take To Show Effect?
How long can a virus live on surfaces? Also if the flu shot is just a weak dose of the real thing to let the body build up an immunity to it, why cant you just wait till some one that is sick, put their germs on something, wait till the virus is almost dead, than put your fingers on that item, touch your nose, mouth, or eye, and have the same result as a shot that has the same virus in it?

They generally survive for 2 to 3 hours in dry environment or dry objects, but they can survive for 4 to 5 hours in the cool and humid environment. So always wash your hands before touching to nose, mouth in the crowd place. Flu shot effective after 15 days and effective for generally 1 yr.
