How Long Does Klebsiella Pneumonia Take To Get Cured?

I have a telative who has a brain tumor and he is in hospital about to undergo the radiation therapy and itvwas discovered that he has the Klebsiella pneumonia and he is currently in isolation. How long does it take for one to be free of this sickness? Will it not affect his condition as well?

Hi,

Generally, a 10 to 14 days of proper antibiotics are sufficient to treat Klebsiella Pneumoniae, though sometimes the bug may be resistant. However mostly this is not the case.
