How Long Does Losartan Take To Show Effect?

I just started taking Losartan 50 mg for high blood pressure this past two weeks now. First time med user of any kind and I was wondering how long it takes for the medication to come into effect ? Also when is the best time of day to take it ? Thank you.

The time of day that the medication is used is not important once you use it consistently at around the same time every day to ensure that your body always has a certain level.

If you think you would remember it best at a certain time, that is the time to use it.
It normally would take the medication, 2 to 3 days to have an effect.
