General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Calypso is a localized radiation procedure used for various soft tissue lesions of cancer conditions. It is not dependent upon the Calypso doses or else for the PSA level to remain normal, but it is the remission or activeness of underlying malignant cells of Prostate which determines the reappearance of prostate cancer. It is the periodic evaluation of PSA level that only will show the periodic basis of cancer to remain in remission without flare.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
