How Long Does Premarin Take To Show Effect?

He hello, I have just been prescribed Premarin cream 0.5mg per day for 30 days(medically induced menopause) how long after insterting the cream should I wait for intercourse & what side effects could he get. Will it be accumulative in my system & affect him too???
