How Long Does Primolut Stay In The Body System?

Hi, I ve had prolonged menstrual bleeding for the past 4months. Treatment I have had was to take the pill to try and control it which did not work. I then stopped taking the pill and was put on primolut...I have had 2 ultrasounds both external and internal with nothing irregular showing. All bloods have come fine. I need to take another blood test for hormones however I m not sure how long primolut stays in your system for...can you advise. Also what would be the next course of action for me to fix this problem?

Hi, I think primolut N will not affect the hormone level in your body. You can do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels to find the cause of prolonged bleeding. Sometimes it can occur due to infections. So, you may need some antibiotics. Hope I have answered your question.
