How Long Does Rigevidon Protect Against Pregnancy?

Hello, I am on the pill (rigevidon) and I have either taken 2 pills in one day without realising in the month or just simply lost one, I have come to the end on my packet and it is Tuesday night here (but I haven t taken my Tuesday pill as it is missing) am I ok to start my new pack Wednesday morning and still be covered against pregnancy or should I start a new pack today even though I usually start back on a wednesday?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Missing one pill in general is not a huge problem especially if this is towards the end of the package so very likely you will be fine. Still for better protection you might need to use condoms for a week to add some more protection and you can start the next pack as you would normally start it. Starting it earlier will not cause better protection so please start it when you were supposed to start it and use condoms for a week now.
