How Long Does Tums Take To Alleviate The Abdominal Pressure?

About 2:00 am I woke up with what seemed like indigestion, so I took a Tums. However the pressure persisted, when I would belch? It did relieve the pressure, but it is still her. When I swallow as the water, or food passes my throat I can feel it? What is that?

Take omeprazole capsule in empty stomach in the morning
Take unienzyme after meal 12 hourly for 2 days
Take light diet
avoid spicy and oily food for atleast 3-4 days
