How Long Does A Depo Shot Take To Wean Off From The Body?

I stop receiving the depo shot the beginning of 2015 I missed my shot due in January . I really want to start my family as soon as possible is there any thing to help remove depo or increase my chances of conceiving ? Or can you give me a guess on when I can start trying or when my ovulation will start. (I have had a slight period in April and may )

Hello,

It's been 5 years you didn't take depo shorts and now you can plan over conceiving. If you have regular menstrual cycle then 14-21 are you highest days to try for conceiving. For more detailed information you can get back to me with your detailed medical history.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap, Cardiologist
