How Long Does A Head Injury Take To Heal?

My daughter fell on the steps and hit the back of her head, under her skull by the neck on the right side. She has had bad headaches ever since like in the front of her head. Does this sound related to hitting the back of her head? If so, how long will it last? It s been 5 days already.

Hi,

The blunt impact on the head can lead concussion-like an injury. In that case, a constant headache can occur. But you have a headache for 5 days constantly. So you can investigate with CT or MRI brain for further work up in your case.
