How Long Does A Tendon Damage On The Knee Take To Heal?

Hi, I had 2 depro medrol shots to each arm and 2 of the same to each hip for a flare due to rheumatoid arthritis. I did have a depro medrol injection to my right knee a couple of years ago that caused tendon damage and I required surgery. Please tell me approximately how long do I need to be less active than usual? Thank-you

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

After going through the description you have provided, the tendon damage can take about 3 months to heal completely. You need to strictly follow the treatment and supportive guidelines as advised by your doctor. Also, you may require assistance of physiotherapy during the process of treatment.

Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
