How Long Does Atopic Dermatitis Take To Heal?

My 4 months son have atopic dermatitis and we have been using steriods cream to heal his rashes.. Now these rashes have turned into white patches. How long wilk they take to heal. We are usung kidglo moisturizer and cetaphil cream.. But rashes on his face keeps coming and going

Hello there,
Atopic dermatitis is very common in infants.
It could last for a few months to years and also disappear completely.
You are doing absolutely correct with the application of the moisturiser and the cetaphil cream. The point is to apply it frequently, so that you get on top of the dryness. So apply them 3-4 times a day. Do not worry about the white patches, they will disappear in time.
Also use a mild soap / body wash for your son, a mild hypoallergic moisturising one is suggested.
