How Long Does Bruised Cornea Last After The Cataract Surgery?
My mom had cataract surgery 5 days ago on one eye She went back to the doctor the next day and he told her she had a bruised cornea. How long will this last she still is having problems seeing and its no better than the day she had surgery Can u tell me how long this will last!

A superficial abrasion over the corneal will heal in 48-72 hrs..
A fluid collection in the cornea after a cataract surgery will take longer time to resolve..
Bruised cornea is a vague term and can relate to both the above conditions..
Keep following up with your doctor..
