How Long Does Burning Sensation During Urination Take To Alleviate?

Hi Doc, I have taken medication for Chlamydia (I did not yet get tested but took it as a precaution) 5 days ago. My burning sensation when peeing/ejaculating has returned. How long does it take for the medication to completely kill the STD? I was having pain in the testicle but this has gone. thanks

Hello,

If the burning sensation has returned then it means that you are not cured well. I think you may need to take doxycycline for 10 days to get treated. Talk to your doctor about it. Use ibuprofen for urination pain.
